Jeff Daniels : Owner, COO of Surv Real Estate

Jeff is a Salt Lake Valley native who grew up in a successful real estate investing family. Through his experiences, he gained extensive knowledge of the real estate market that is invaluable to his clients, whether they are buyers, sellers, or investors. Jeff’s professional background is in commercial construction, during which he worked as a project engineer for Oakland Construction. Some of his work can be seen at the beautiful City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City.

Jeff currently owns and operates SURV Real Estate a local brokerage based in Draper UT. Since 2017 Jeff has been a SLBR top 500 agent. In November of 2017, Rhett was laid off from his medical sales job of 12 years. With a stay-at-home wife and 4 kids at home Rhett felt immense pressure to make sure his family didn’t struggle. Although a new job was quickly found the feeling of fear felt during that month of unemployment helped Rhett decided to finally do something to make sure if he was laid off again, he had a better foundation in the future. Rhett decided he would buy properties for cash flow and be a buy and hold Investor.

In June of 2018 Rhett purchased his first rental and was hooked. Since then Rhett has continued to invest in rentals and over the next 6 years has built a small portfolio of over 114 doors with the majority of those being single family homes. Rhett still works full time in medical sales and continues to grow his portfolio on the side. Rhett has put himself in a position through rentals that if he faces a layoff in the future the stress of unemployment will not be a fearful experience like in the past.
